Volunteer

Join us to share, mentor, and learn.

Since Code2040 was founded, volunteers have played an integral role in supporting Black and Latinx students through our programming, elevating them to a position with access and opportunity. As we continue to scale and build new programs, we rely on the support of volunteers like you to share your expertise, insight, and guidance with the growing number of students and young professionals in our community.

With your involvement, we can realize our vision of mobilizing Black and Latinx technologists to be advocates and game changers for our communities. Check out our current volunteer positions below:

Current Opportunities

We're looking for volunteers to join our community and support the next generation of Black and Latinx tech leaders! Right now, we're urgently seeking:

  • Career Guides to help our fellows with resume building and interview prep. This is a unique opportunity to connect directly with college students, provide mentorship, and make a lasting impact on their career journeys.

  • We're also accepting Volunteer Hosts for in-person event support

  • Volunteer Storytellers to share their personal experiences in the tech industry on a rolling basis. Whether you're helping with logistics, sharing wisdom, or guiding fellows, your support will play a key role in fostering connection and community.

If you're interested in lending your expertise, please reach out to Oscar at oscar@code2040.org or sign up below!

As a mentor, you’ll connect with like-minded tech professionals and build meaningful, long lasting relationships all while advancing racial equity in the tech industry.
