Qy'Darrius (Q) is from Lumberton, North Carolina, and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for his undergraduate degree in Psychology with minors in Education + Social & Economic Justice. After achieving his Masters' degree from Texas State University, Q has spent time working in both the higher education and nonprofit sectors, where he has continued to feel passion for creating spaces for community and addressing systemic barriers that exist for Black + Latinx folks. In his most recent role, Q was the Community Engagement Lead, responsible for the organization's community-building efforts and DEI initiatives.

Outside of work, Q enjoys spending time with his growing family, reading books while listening to music, and being active (when it is not 100 degrees in NC).
